Your account settings control your personal profile information, password, and preferences. These settings apply to your Lingo account across all Spaces you belong to—they're separate from Space settings.
How to access account settings
Click your avatar or profile picture in the bottom-left corner of the navigation
Select Account settings from the menu
This opens your personal account settings page.
What you can manage
From your account settings, you can:
Update your profile — Change your name, email, and avatar
Change your password — Update your login credentials
Manage notification preferences — Control email notifications
Delete your account — Permanently remove your Lingo account
Account settings vs. Space settings
It's important to understand the difference:
Account settings | Space settings |
Your personal profile | Space name and branding |
Your password | Team members and permissions |
Your email address | Billing and subscription |
Applies to all Spaces | Applies to one Space only |
Account settings follow you everywhere in Lingo. Space settings only affect the specific Space you're configuring.
