Asset Insights: Most and Least Used Assets

Track which Assets are being used and which might need attention.

Asset insights help you understand which content resonates with your team and identify Assets that may be outdated or underutilized.

Viewing Asset insights

  1. Navigate to the Insights dashboard

  2. Select the Assets tab

  3. View the list of Assets sorted by usage

Key metrics

Views - How many times the Asset has been viewed in detail

Downloads - How many times the Asset has been downloaded

Direct link hits - For Assets with direct links, how many times they've been accessed

Most used Assets

The most used Assets appear at the top of the list. High usage indicates:

  • Content that's valuable to your team

  • Assets that should be kept up to date

  • Potential candidates for prominent placement in Kits

Least used Assets

Assets with low or no usage might indicate:

  • Content that's hard to find

  • Outdated Assets that could be archived

  • Assets that need better Tags or organization

Taking action

Use Asset insights to:

  • Prioritize updates for high-traffic Assets

  • Archive or remove unused content

  • Improve discoverability for valuable but overlooked Assets
