Once you've set up filters that you'll use again, save them as a view to avoid repeating the setup process.

Only Admins and Content Managers can create saved views.

Creating a saved view

  1. Open the Library

  2. Set up your filters using the filter bar

  3. Once you see the results you want, click Save View in the toolbar

  4. Enter a name for the view (e.g., "Approved Logos," "Q1 Campaign Assets")

  5. Click Save

Your view now appears in the saved views list for quick access.

Note: Saved views only save filters. Search queries and sort order are not included—you'll need to set those each time you use the view.

Built in views

Lingo includes some default views to help you get started:

  • All Assets: Shows every Asset in your Library

  • Recently Added: Assets uploaded in the last 30 days

  • Unused Assets: Assets not currently included in any Kits

While built in views cannot be changed, you can open a built in view, add filters then save it as a custom view to tailor it to your needs.

Naming tips

Choose names that clearly describe what the view shows:

  • "Approved Brand Assets" rather than "View 1"

  • "Marketing Team Photos" rather than "Photos"

  • "Expiring This Quarter" rather than "Dates"

Good names help you (and your team) find the right view quickly.

Creating views for different purposes

Consider creating views for:

  • Workflow stages: "Needs Review," "Approved," "Archived"

  • Content types: "All Videos," "Brand Fonts," "Product Photos"

  • Projects: "2024 Rebrand," "Holiday Campaign," "Website Refresh"

  • Time-based: "Uploaded This Week," "Expiring Soon"
