There are a few reasons your Lingo plan might be paused. Here's what to look for and how to resolve it.

Payment failure

The most common reason for a paused plan is a failed payment. This can happen when:

  • Your credit card expired

  • Your card was declined

  • Your payment method was removed

How to fix it: Update your payment method in Billing settings.

Exceeded usage limits

If you significantly exceed your plan's consumer, storage or direct link quotas for an extended period, your Space may be paused until you:

  • Upgrade to a plan with higher limits

  • Contact support to increase your quota

  • Reduce your usage to fit within your current plan

Customer support will contact you before pausing your Space for usage issues.

How to fix it: Upgrade your plan or remove content to get back within limits.

Account issues

In rare cases, accounts may be paused for:

  • Terms of service violations

  • Suspected unauthorized access

  • Billing disputes

How to fix it: Contact support to resolve account-related issues.

How to check why you're paused

  1. Go to your Space settings

  2. Select Billing

  3. Look for any alerts or messages explaining the pause
