When you first sign up for Lingo, you'll create a space - your team's central hub for managing and sharing digital assets. This guide will walk you through the initial setup to get your space ready for your team.

Create your space

If you haven't already, create a space for your team.

  1. Login or create your free Lingo account.

  2. Enter your space name - this is typically your company or team name

Your space is now created! As the creator, you're automatically assigned as the space Owner with full admin permissions.

Understanding user roles

Your space has different user roles that control access and permissions:

  • Owner - Full access to everything, including billing and space settings

  • Admin - Manage assets, users, and space settings (but not billing)

  • Content Manager - Access the Library to manage and organize assets

  • Member - View and download from kits and portals. Can be granted edit acess to specific kits. No Library access.

As the space owner, you'll need to invite team members and assign roles based on their needs.

Team members will receive an email invitation to join your space.
